The Spanish Speaking Information Center will host its first Health and Safety Fair at 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 19 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2316 W. Coldwater Road. Health screenings and a fitness walk are planned.

The Hispanic Professionals Networking Group invites you to our September event.
HPNG holds monthly networking events to bring together Hispanic professionals from every industry to make new contacts and to share and exchange ideas.
Our speaker this month is Carlos Gutierrez, winner of the 1st Annual Latino Filmmaker Competition sponsored by the 2004 NY International Latino Film Festival.
Carlos is a Miami native of Cuban descent who currently attends NYU. He is slated to graduate this year with an MFA in Film Directing. He will share with us his story, his passion about filmmaking and of course, discuss his award winning short film, "Lechon."
