This morning there was a report on the radio about the declining membership in unions, which decades ago were formed to protect and organize blue collar workers and middle class Americans. They said the reasons for the membership decline is that the professions/careers these days are vastly different and therefore unions are not as necessary as they once were. I wonder if anyone has any opinions about what the emerging professions/careers are that the up and coming young professionals should be aware of. Any opinions, information?
