How can Hispanic employees help their companies hire more Hispanics?
I am in my company's Hispanic forum. Our forum is supposed to help Hispanic employees network within the company and assist the company in attracting and retaining Hispancis. We are using our own personal networks to find great people but I'm trying to find ways of connecting with Hispanic professionals. I'd love to hear some ideas.

Connecting Hispanic Professionals
Hey,
First and most important you need a website, which you might already have. Look in student organizations with universities these are your proffesionals that need to be connected. Then look into the different publications that offer Jobs (the Clasifies). Then you as an agency could connect them together. That is just an idea hope that you find useful.

One of the best ways to get companies to hire Hispanics is by other Hispanics being the best workers they can be. Employers will then
want to hire us because we developed a reputation. We can also teach our children about good work ethics.

You may want to check with some Universities/colleges post graduate department. There are many Hispanics enrolled in Masters Degree programs and PhD programs that are also full time professionals. Hope this helps or serves as some sort of insight.

Hispanic Professional Associations
Working with Hispanic Professional associations like Alpfa or Maes or this one, NSHP. They all have their Career Center, their networking events, their Job Fairs.
Local Chapters?
I've sent emails to several different people in this org to find out about local chapters with no success. I've also contacted NSHMBA to ask them about forming a chapter here in Richmond, VA again with no response.
