The Great Wall of Mexico is half a reality

Ok, the wall for the border with Mexico is half a reality as it has been "approved"...

I would really like to know how many people believe this is going to work, no matter your political standing on illegal immigration.

In my case for example, I understand that as it is is a problem, but I also believe that is a problem because the US treats all the ones that want to immigrate legally so bad and with such a bureaucracy and with such little common sense, that the country is also reaping what we sow.

But even when I think is a problem to solve and to stop, I truly believe that the wall is just a really bad bad bad idea. It will take a lot of money and effort and as we say in Spanish, "hecha la ley, hecha la trampa" (as you got the law, you got the cheating)

So my feeling is that it will not work, maybe a little for a while, but I can image that at the same time the engineers are planning the wall, the guys that have made a living of crossing people through the border (coyotes I believe they are calles) are also planning how to continue with their "work".

Anyone thinks differently? that is a great idea and that will work because.....?
