Call for Volunteers

I work for a private nonprofit organization called ACCION New York (www.accionnewyork.org) which contributes to the economic development of the New York metropolitan region by providing microloans and business advisory services to individuals and small businesses that do not have access to traditional sources of credit. The majority of our 1,500 clients per year are Hispanic, low-income entrepreneurs who need all the resources they can get.

I am writing today to ask for the help of the New York members with providing pro bono services to our clients. We are especially in need of accounting, legal, and business mentoring services.

Any sort of help people could provide to fledging entrepreneurs would be greatly appreciated.
