Operations Supervisor
Job Description
As a Remittance Supervisor you will oversee medium to large segments of the Chicago Receivables Operations Process. In addition, you will provide guidance and development of the Workflow Coordinators and Associates. Job requires proven leadership capabilities in either a supervisory or team leadership role. Other key responsibilities include "direct ownership" of remittance processing performance including high productivity, excellent quality, and employee engagement as well as handling complex customer relationships. Responsible for shift operations, informing shift manager of process delays or breakdowns, and resolving problems or obstacles to production and/or quality. You will ensure that all department and bank guidelines are followed as they relate to operations, internal audit and security and general management practices.
Schedule: Sun-Thurs., 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Job Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a business related discipline is preferred. A minimum of 3 years supervisory/management experience, preferably in a Lockbox production environment. Ability to lead, direct and be visible to staff. Responsible for multiple deadline driven processes. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with solid PC skills. Ability to prioritize while multitasking is critical for success in this position. Must be able to interact effectively with diverse groups within the organization. Strong planning/organization, problem solving, team building and interpersonal skills are also essential.
