Support information research requests using pre-developed programs and delivery standards. Execute and deliver standard and scheduled customized report products using pre-developed programs and delivery standards. Transition pre-developed programs that require manual submission to automated submission and delivery using production and FTP standards. Support on-demand information request for report development through either manager specifications or independent client relationship management.

Maintain specific information needs through the clarification, specification, development, validation and review of product prototypes directly with the client. Document and maintain client information product inventories for biannual review with client and information management teams to address gaps or future needs. Develop, as needed, summary data marts (SAS files), to support the development of standard reports either through manager specification or direct client relationship management. Coordinate, facilitate and present information sessions about our information products and/or tools.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
• Minimum of five years in computer programming, preferably in a financial services environment
• At least four years working in the assigned business unit or an equivalent capacity outside of the organization
• Proficiency in SAS on the mainframe platform and one or more computer programming languages preferably SQL, JAVA, HTML, Visual Basic, or TSO/ISPF
• Knowledge of logical data modeling, business rule definition, and meta-data management
• The ability to actively listen, interview end-users or clients, and apply information from meetings to complete tasks
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Mathematical and statistical aptitude
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology a plus
