NYU Stern has an exciting opportunity available for an Executive Director of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving. The incumbent will serve as a visionary and catalyst for the newly integrated alumni affairs and annual giving teams serving 70,000 graduate and undergraduate alumni worldwide. S/he will identify and offer meaningful programs and services that advance the mutual interests of the alumni body and the School. In close collaboration with the Development Office, s/he will create an integrated alumni giving program that results in a vibrant, growing pipeline of donors and potential donors. The incumbent will also work with the school’s 6 member, cross-functional Alumni Community Engagement Team to establish strategic, quantifiable goals and objectives that maximize the intellectual, professional and philanthropic engagement of our alumni body.

Job Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Master’s degree or MBA preferred), along with seven years of progressively responsible experience in leading a development, alumni, marketing or related function. Proven leadership skills, strategic planning, and ability to cultivate relationships and solicit gifts is essential. Some travel required.
