Job Description

TrailBlazer Health Enterprises, LLCSM, a BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Company, is one of the nation’s largest Medicare contractors. Our employees have provided services to the Medicare program since 1966. We currently have an exciting career opportunity at our Dallas location.

eLearning Designer/Developer I/II - Promote blended learning solutions and the use of innovative technology and tools to meet business goals. Contribute expertise as a member of various functional groups focused on developing a high-performing workforce. Serve internal and/or external customer departments of private or Federal agencies. Work product is Web-enabled e-learning, traditional educational materials, or a blended solution. Use of leading-edge technology is the primary tool for producing e-learning solutions that are SCORM compliant. Must be able to travel as needed. No relocation or interview expenses are available for this position.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements: Level I
Education:
o 4 year degree with course work in English, Journalism, Business, Education, or related field, OR 2 year degree plus 2 years professional writing or electronic media design experience
Work Experience:
o 2 years of professional writing, electronic media design, or training program development experience
Knowledge/Skill:
o Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, SQL, Java, Javascript, Visual Basic or related languages.
o Knowledge of application tools such as Toolbook, QuestionMark, Captivate, Adobe Photoshop or related tools.
o Ability to work continually and effectively under stringent pressure including constant and numerous deadlines and company and contract ambiguities.
o Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
o Strong organizational, time management, prioritization, interpersonal, conceptual, and planning skills.
o Ability to work on several projects simultaneously must be able to work effectively independently as well as with groups.
o Intermediate knowledge of needs assessment techniques and a general knowledge of methods for reporting statistics.
o Knowledge of Web deployment and server management.
