Job Description
TrailBlazer Health Enterprises, LLCSM, a BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina company, is one of the nation’s largest Medicare contractors. Our employees have provided services to the Medicare program since 1966. We currently have an exciting career opportunity at our Dallas, TX location.
o TB Auditor III - Determine claims payment amounts in accordance with Medicare principles of reimbursement. Acquire practical experience in applying principals, theories and concepts of accounting and Medicare to ensure compliance with Section 1011 program guidelines and regulations. Provide training and guidance to less experienced staff.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Estimate the minimum requirements of education, specialized knowledge, and job experience necessary for the position:
Education:
o 4 year degree in Accounting or business related field with minimum of 21 hours in accounting.
Work Experience:
o 5 years in Medicare audit experience.
Knowledge/Skill:
o Ability to handle complex auditing assignments while applying principals, theories and concepts of accounting in compliance with Medicare guidelines and regulations.
o Prepare financial reports, work-papers and required data consistent with Medicare regulations.
o Effective written and verbal communication skills.
