The candidate will be part of a team designing state of the art mixed signal systems. These systems have applications in radar, communications, and advanced sensor products. This individual will be responsible for interfacing effectively with the design team, leading requirements capture, project planning and control. The candidate will participate in design reviews. The candidate may also be required to direct and review the work of other engineers. In order to be selected a candidate must have good oral and written communications skills, be comfortable presenting complex technical material during design reviews and technical meetings, and be a strong team player. This person will receive task assignments from the Manager of Engineering Projects or acting Systems Engineering Manager.
Job Requirements
At least 4-6 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree required. Candidate will contribute technical solutions for various projects related to the sensor aspects of GA-ASI RSG. Maintain technical schedules, program plans, and coordinate activities of engineers assigned to projects. Responsible for supporting Hardware and Software departments while overseeing technical aspects of development programs for next generation radar and EO/IR sensor capabilities. Duties will include specification generation, requirements analysis, testing and evaluation oversight, resource allocation, schedule, and program technical progress. Additional tasks will include development and monitoring system engineering processes and engineering instructions. Interface with subcontractors and customers will be required. Support project and system engineering activities. Will also be required to travel and provide field support as needed. Desirable Qualifications: Self motivated requiring little supervision. Experience with Excel and Visio.
