Under limited supervision, this position will be responsible for providing clerical support to the Software Engineering Department management and staff. Maintains, processes, reviews, complies, and analyzes a variety of confidential and sensitive electronic and hard copy reports, records, statistics, timeline, tables, correspondence, and presentations. Provides data and information on requests from all levels of management within the Software Department. Duties will include, but are not limited to: • Coordinates the activities of one or more functional areas or one or more project/business/technical units. • Gathers, collects, records, tracks, verifies data and information provided by Software supervisors. • Coordinates, tracks, and reports on the progress of unit work assignments and/or projects. • Creates and assists in the creation of department policies and procedures. • Responds to routine verbal and written requests for information from Software supervisors and may respond to verbal and written requests for information from authorized external parties and/or customers. • Prepares requested electronic and hard copy reports and presentations. • May assist in the preparation of Travel Requests & Reimbursements. • Delivers documents and paperwork between buildings and departments as necessary. • Attends meetings on request to record meeting minutes and action items. • May provide direction and training to new employees. • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of GA-ASI. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years’ current experience. Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Must be able to create and maintain spreadsheets. Needs considerable knowledge of computer operations and applications. Must maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information, utilize strong organizational skills, and clearly establish priorities. Should be able to accurately document, report, interpret and explain moderately complex and/or technical information. Chosen candidate will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of company personnel in a professional manner. In addition, he/she will be a multi-tasking team player with a hands-on approach, and a self starter with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision. Must also be able to obtain a security clearance.
