DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision and instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new activities. Performs and/or assists in modification, fabrication, assembly, operations, installation, repair and maintenance of ground control stations and ground support equipment. Responsibilities include mechanical equipment assembly of control equipment, cabling, installation of equipment, maintenance, repair, and testing. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or Associate’s degree or equivalent with 2 years technical assembly experience. Must be able to work with common hand tool. Must have the capability to perform complex assignments with little or no direction. Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field required. Must have the ability to read mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics and diagrams. Both Electrical and Mechanical aptitude required. Must have good communication skills.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Desirable certifications include Forklift/crane operator license. Experience with rack assembly and wiring.
