Provide management and leadership direction for a project or program. Develop and maintain control systems that accurately measure results. Establish milestones and monitor adherence to program master plans and schedules and/or costs. Ensure the program objectives and the Company’s contract commitments are met. Act as customer contact to ensure satisfaction and develop follow-on and new business. Prepare and manage the submittal of contract data items. Develop program control mechanisms to effectively measure expenditures, labor and other resources necessary to manage program budget; direct activities of assigned program staff; responsible for accurately measuring progress of program; Identify and correct problems to avoid adverse affects to the program; present briefings to organizational and group management as well as customer representatives on significant program issues; represents the corporation to customers and suppliers; assist with proposal preparation and statements of work; review and recommend cost estimates for new business; participates in the establishment of long-range goals and objectives for the program area; manage various acquisition and development programs in the Program Office; manage technical order programs, including liaison with customer and GA-ASI technical writing manager; manage training development programs for Predator required by government contracts; travel to Predator field sites to coordinate technical order and training programs; travel to the Predator Government Program Office for meetings on technical order and training program contracts.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized field (preferably an engineering discipline). May substitute equivalent experience in the field. Typical minimum related experience is four years with progressive responsibilities in management of projects/programs. Proven ability to plan, organize and develop schedules and/or budgets for tasks in support of project/program goals. Experience managing systems, budgets, and schedules. Computer literate with the knowledge of applications and operations pertinent to the position. Proven ability to establish milestones and monitor progress in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken. Possesses the ability to effectively present complex financial, schedule and/or technical information to organizational and group management, government officials, customers, and scientific or public groups. Familiarity with ASI aircraft and programs, and/or familiarity with technical writing and/or training development processes.
