DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:#4363

This position is for a program and operations manager to operate and manage airborne electro-optical systems and imaging analysis teams.

These systems are on a fast-track for deployment and experience with EO/IR reconnaissance and/or theatre operations is essential.

Duties will include planning and conducting operational test flights and managing in-flight data collection with the EO/IR system.

Provide research and analysis services concentrating on image analysis from a research and development data collection during operational test flights.

Tasks will involve data collection on a variety of targets, providing means to identify and prioritize targets, support field activities and rapidly disseminate actionable intelligence.

Make timely and critical decisions regarding high priority targets of interest and communicate this information higher headquarters.

Manage field operations and maintain liaison with command elements.
Position will involve ~9O day deployments on OCONUS regions.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Typically requires education/formal training equivalent to the completion of a Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field, along with seven or more years progressive project administrative experience in an engineering/scientific, military or intelligence environment with at least three or more years of supervisory experience.

May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.

Demonstrates an extensive technical and/or project leadership expertise and application of engineering principles, concepts, and practice with the ability to organize, plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones.

Must posses the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required enabling an effective interface with other department and/or professionals, and capable of representing the organization as a prime technical contact, as well as providing leadership and guidance to less experienced professionals.

Customer focused, formulates plans based on the development of innovative new designs in resolving advanced technical engineering problems.

Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.

Able to work extended hours as required.

U.S. Citizenship required and active security clearance.

Travel out of CONUS required.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous Military Experience.

Previous EO/IR systems experience.
