DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: #5257

The Photonics Division Advanced Wireless Group is developing new and exciting products based on UWB technology for commercial and government markets.

We are on the lookout for engineers with the passion and drive to develop new cutting-edge wireless products that satisfy the demands of the ever-evolving marketplace.

The successful candidate will lead and/or be a member of engineering teams that develop, test and deploy new wireless products based on customer requirements and specifications.

The teams will be cross-functional, involved in RF/analog/digital circuit design, mechanical design of the products, digital design and software development.

The successful candidate will have to be an expert in RF engineering and have sufficient familiarity with the other areas to be able to provide technical input to those reporting to him/her.

The candidate will be responsible for interfacing with the customer as the primary technical point of contact, meeting customer deadlines, and identifying and fixing problems with customer deliverables.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum qualifications are a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and /U ars of hands on experience in RF Engineering, circuit/board design and testing.

Candidate should have good communication skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced,customer-oriented environment.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Desirable qualifications include a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, experience with and/or familiarity with UWB and other wireless protocols and standards like WLAN and Bluetooth.

Experience with development of wireless products for consumers an added bonus.
