Reserve District Manager

Job Description

The Reserve District Manager training program is for developing Farmers district managers.
The training program typically lasts 24 to 30 months depending on previous experience and includes licensing and training in insurance and financial products, managing a business, recruiting, training, and sales management.
Successful completion of the program may result in appointment as a district manager with responsibility over agents within a district, as districts become available.
Reserve district managers are trained by an established, mentor district manager while compensated by the district manager. Upon becoming a district manager, you have virtually unlimited growth potential. If you are bilingual, you may also qualify for other financial incentives.
Primary responsibilities, usually assigned by a district manager include:
• Learn and prepare to run your own district
• Recruit new agents
• Train new and existing agents
• Support district operation

Job Requirements

Minimum qualifications, usually preferred by a district manager:
• Desire to own and operate a small business
• Self motivated entrepreneur
• Sales, management or supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills
• College degree
• Good credit history
