Verizon Wireless owns and operates the nation’s most reliable wireless network, serving 60 million voice and data customers.
In this position you would work in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment. Our representatives handling inbound customer calls while using a computer terminal to research and resolve billing inquiries, explain our products and services and troubleshoot service and equipment. Our reps handle 65-75 calls per day with scheduled breaks and lunches. We only offer full time positions that pay $31,000 per year. We also offer $1500 differential for the fluency with the Spanish language.
Our hours for the call center are 6 a.m. – 11:00 p.m., 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Work schedules are done on a seniority basis, every 3 months we do a schedule bid. Some holidays may be required and overtime is offered on a volunteer basis.
Training is 18 weeks in length. For the first 6 weeks, the schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. For weeks 7-18, the schedule is potentially 12pm-9pm, with Sunday and one day off during the week. We have a very strict attendance policy in reference to tardies and absences.
