Enterprise Rent-A-Car is the largest rental car company in North America. We operate more than 878,000 Rental and Fleet Management vehicles worldwide and have annual revenues of $9 billion. Last year, Enterprise opened more than 400 new locations, increasing its total locations to more than 6,900 with offices in the United States, Canada, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom. Local Facts
The first Houston Enterprise rental office opened in 1974 at Old Katy Rd. and Gessner in West Houston. Since then, we have grown to more than 225 branch offices in the Houston area. We have also expanded our Car Sales division and doubled the size of our Fleet Management division. We were nominated by the Houston Business Journal in 2006 as one of the Best Places to Work. We were also ranked in 2007 as one of the Best Places to work in Texas by Texas Monthly magazine. Never one to become satisfied with an achieved level of success, the Houston Group continues to break size and sales goals regionally, reflecting the nationwide success of the company. While we believe in working hard, we also know the importance of having fun. Company-sponsored events like our annual holiday party, happy hours and business dinners are just some of the events that bring our employees together outside of work. In our group, we work as a team to make sure we are growing and succeeding – both individually and as a group.
Opportunities
Due to Enterprise’s rapid and successful growth, the Houston Group has many entry-level Management Trainee opportunities. You’ll learn to run a business, hire and manage your own team and gain business training that helps you succeed anywhere. Enterprise promotes from within, so our trainee program is the fast track to a great management career. Trainees typically receive one or more promotions within their first year and many double their salaries upon becoming branch managers. Branch manager perks also include salaried pay,
commissions, health benefits and company car privileges. Our promote-from-within policy also helps growth in other departments, such as Loss Control, Human Resources, Recruiting, Marketing and Accounting.
