Associate Claims Service Representative
Job Description
Position Type: Full-Time and Part-time (20/38.75 hours per week/7.75 hour days per week)
Hours of Operation: 7 days a week (7am – 10pm, M-Sun)
Benefits: Full benefits package including Medical, Optical, Dental, Life, 401(k)/Pension Plan, Paid Time Off
Pay: $11.70 per hour (additional incentive for English/Spanish fluency)
Description Overview
• First point of contact for customers taking a first notice of loss
• Assist customers with repair options
Professional Attitude
• Must be professional, empathetic, courteous, positive
• Pressure – demanding at times due to high call volume and general nature of calls
• Business Casual dress code
Dependability / Flexibility
• Must be able to work Saturday or Sunday as part of regular weekly schedule
• Must be able to work holidays as necessary
• Must be able to work additional hours outside normal schedule when warranted by call volume
• Must be able to work independently without constant direct supervision
• Must be able to arrive for scheduled shifts promptly
Training
• Training program = 3 to 6 weeks, Monday – Friday

Following are the preferred qualifications for opportunities in Customer Service at one of our call centers:
• High school diploma / equivalent. As career progresses, ongoing technical insurance coursework and/or undergraduate studies are desirable
• At least One year of related clerical or customer service work
• Effective oral and written communication skills (English and/or Spanish fluency a definite plus)
• Ability to evaluate customer inquiries and determine appropriate actions
• Ability to operate a personal computer and business-related software
