We have an exciting Opportunity for a Home Visitor whose primary function will be to promote early literacy for children and their families through Home Visits and Case Management in Brooklyn and the Bronx.

Duties Include:
Conducting Home visits to families to deliver the PCHP Curriculum to empower families to support and enhance their child’s education. Attend the certified PCHP training. Provide resource referrals for families who are eligible, but not in receipt of, public benefits to support self-sufficiency. Contribute ideas and resources for empowerment workshops for parents on parent involvement in their children’s education
Provide monthly reports on home visits, curriculum activities, including client and program progress. Communicate needs and accomplishments on an ongoing basis. Additional duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:
AA degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Counseling, Social Services, Counseling, Social Services, equivalent experience or CDA credentials. At least 1 year of experience in an Early Childhood Education setting and knowledge of child development. Must be computer literate and possess excellent communication skills. Bilingual Spanish highly desired.
