Position Overview
Implement call routing plans on Lucent, Nortel or Ericsson digital telephone switch systems. Incumbent will be responsible for the engineering of call routing changes to include network class of service changes, adding and removing of trunk groups. customer feature activations, emergency per-translations (911) and disaster recovery routing plans. Maintain LERG documentation and implement line range changes for NPA-NXX. Maintain & distribute daily switch performance records. Cross train to perform maintenance & operations of the switch equipment in emergency situations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications
Required
• High School or GED
• High Tech, Start Up Environment industry experience
• 2 years as a switch technician
Preferred
• AA in electronics
• 3-5 years specializing in translations development and implementation.
