RESPONSIBILITIES: Actively acquires and manages a portfolio of new and existing affluent consumer clients, (250,000-5 MM in investable assets). Provides financial solutions to include deposit, loan, mortgage, small business, and investment services. Provides exceptional customer service in every customer interaction. Works to build a long-term advisory relationship with each client by profiling situations from the client's perspective and with the goal of achieving results that are in the best interest of the client and Wachovia. Develops sales strategies for maintaining and further penetrating existing client relationships including pre-call planning and post-call follow-up activities. Executes market sales and service strategies. Proactively seeks business through referrals from existing client relationships and external networking opportunities. Combines consultative sales approach and financial expertise to create value-added solutions for clients. Effectively uses system and tools to manage and work leads, contacts, and daily sales activities. Responsible for ensuring that all the financial needs of the affluent consumer & commercial client are met. Adhere to customer service protocols and process. Supports team members by providing information and education specific to Private Banking. Proactively seeks feedback for improving personal performance and is accountable for monthly, quarterly, and yearly stated goals. Develops effective partnerships with internal lines of business. Strong track record of participation in community and civic activities
BS or BA required. Insurance and Series 7 & 66 licenses preferred or must be willing to obtain Series 7. Proven track record/experience in sales and customer service. Lending experience required. Small Business Sales Experience preferred. Working knowledge and understanding of tax implication required or must be willing to obtain. 3 to 5 years consultative sales experience required. Actively has center of influence customer lists that can provide on-going portfolio of clients in the affluent community. Ability to build a revenue producing book of business utilizing internal and external sources of customers in the affluent segment. Expert communication and presentation skills to target market required. Proven problem solving, conflict resolution, time management, follow-up and decision making skills required. Willing to contribute to team efforts as it relates to Private Banking. Ability to execute performance through self motivation and with minimum supervision. Mon – Fri, 40 Hours.
