POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical and analytical support to the consultants in the Compensation Practice. The Compensation Analyst will be able to manage small repeat projects or update portions of larger projects with minimal guidance or supervision as well as support consultants on larger projects.

Job Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market Analysis:
-Market pricing of jobs and preparing recommendations for compensation;
-Benchmarking annual incentive plans and long-term incentive plan design and practice;
-Conducting proxy studies and analysis of other publicly available data sources;
-Conducting surveys of executive compensation issues

Financial Analysis:
-Modeling financial impact of compensation plans and programs;
-Conducting statistical analysis of compensation data

Presentations and Marketing:
-Preparing exhibits, summaries and recommendations for client reports;
-Research for external seminars

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Under-graduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics or related field. MBA preferred
-1-3 years of compensation analysis or statistical, economic or financial analysis experience required.
-Previous experience specific to executive compensation preferred.
-Strong working knowledge of statistical methods, data analysis and presentation, and creative problem solving preferred.
-Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, team environment with little supervision.,
-Interested in a continuous learning environment.
-Ability to identify and solve problems creatively. Strong analytical abilities is a must.
-Strong written, verbal and quantitative skills.
-Flexibility to work in situations where there is no unique right answer.
-Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
