Nalco currently has openings for entry-level Ph. D. researchers in the areas of Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or Chemical Engineering for the Chemistry Group in our Core Technologies Research Division. These positions are located at our corporate headquarters in Naperville, Illinois.

Selected scientists will have a variety of research opportunities including investigation into the development of water-soluble monomers and polymers for use as industrial process additives and water-treatment chemicals, optimization of current commercial products and production processes, and evaluation of new technologies. The candidate must be able to flourish as part of a multi-disciplinary team of researchers with projects involving bench-top synthesis, product performance optimization, process development and improvement, scale-up and manufacturing support, and commercial field evaluations.
