Nalco has an opening for a Procurement Representative in our Procurement Group located in Naperville, IL. The Procurement Representative will primarily be responsible for working directly with internal Nalco leadership team to develop sourcing strategies and execute sourcing initiatives in a team environment.

Other Responsibilities include:
Identifies and drives approval for alternate suppliers and materials
Negotiates contracts and supply position with suppliers; manages supplier relationships
Deploy sourcing strategies for assigned raw materials

The minimum qualifications the candidate will have include:
Bachelor's degree required (Engineering, Finance, Physical Sciences or Business preferred)
2 or more years experience in the chemical/petrochemical industry or experience in finance, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, professional sales/consulting services
The desired candidate will have professional experience to include:
Seeking ambitious individual that demonstrates high energy level, strong work ethic and business acumen
Must take initiative to drive strategies and manage multiple projects to achieve measured goals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to set strategies, build consensus and interact with various levels of Nalco and supplier management
Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
