Graham Windham, has been serving thousands of New York’s children year after year with our dynamic and innovative programs. We are seeking qualified individuals for our Permanency Planning Services. Our approach to service delivery requires an interest and ability to make decisions as part of our team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sociotherapist Supervisor to work out of our Brooklyn or Bronx location.

Monitors, oversees, and supervises TFBH department's sociotherapist, ensuring compliance consistent with city, state, and governmental regulations.

The qualified professional would be:

• Responsible for the progress and productivity of Sociotherapist and provide supervision to staff in the BX and Bklyn offices.

• The ST Sup. will oversee the development and implementation of Behavior Modification plans for all youngsters, making certain that they are carried out in the home.

• Provide Crisis intervention and organized recreation for youngsters in the home, school, and in the community.

• Responsible for keeping an overall picture of sociotherapeutic treatment activities, making certain that activities form a coherent whole and do not make contradictory demands on the client.

• The ST Sup will also track clinical evaluations, making certain that they are up to date.

• Facilitate Psycho-educational groups for foster parents and youth.

• Possess knowledge about the ABC Model of Behavior Modification.


MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:

High School Diploma; B.A. or B.S. in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or Human Services preferred. Two or more years of experience in a Human Services related environment. Proficiency in NYS electronic case record- Connections and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
