Billing Specialist

Job Description

SUMMARY To perform all aspects of day-to-day customer order processing (data entry and responding to customer inquiries) and support for cable, high speed and digital phone services .Respond to customer inquiries with a strong focus on troubleshooting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provides assistance and expertise to customers and receives orders for installation, disconnection, service/repair or change in service. Solicits sales of new or additional services. Responsible for input and retrieval of information from various databases and applications. Responsible for product knowledge and adhering to company policies. Works with other functional groups to ensure customer satisfaction.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) necessary. Two years related experience and/or two year college degree. Sales oriented individual strongly preferred. Excellent communication, analytical and decision making skills. Must be available to work outside of regularly assigned shifts, but within guidelines of employee classification. Bilingual skills strongly preferred. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
