Essential Job Functions
Will be expected to be responsible for gathering, analyzing and reporting external trends including consumer, environmental and regulatory trends, in order to help differentiate Time Warner Cable vs. our competition such as satellite, internet and phone companies. The manager will proactively work with other groups throughout the company to identify and exploit company strengths and competitor weaknesses. Identify and investigate competitors’ strategies, strengths, weaknesses and reaction patterns within and across markets; at the level of system, Zip Code and across all demographic categories. Develop and implement competitive strategies and tactics in partnership with the creative and other departmental groups as well as coordinate any corporate-sponsored initiatives. Continuously monitor, track, and analyze competitive trends and situations, allowing both quick responses as well as proactively capitalizing on competitive opportunities. Evaluate and assess results and ROI of all implemented strategies and tactics; Recommend changes and improvements based on results and changing competitive and environmental situations. Coordinate/manage project plans and timelines, resource allocation, and vendor management. Draw analytical insights from consumer research and make recommendations to affect overall business direction. Produce and present results in high-quality, professional business reports at appropriate level for an executive audience.

Job Requirements/Qualifications
Must have a 3+ years experience in the areas of marketing strategy, competitive strategy and analysis; preferably with media and entertainment and/or telecommunications industries. Must have a proven track record of managing, tracking, analyzing and reporting actionable information in highly competitive environment. Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, comfortable managing heavy workload in fast-paced, dynamic business and corporate culture. Experience with complex data analysis and reporting. Will be working in a typical office environment using standard office equipment, including a personal computer.
