Sales District Manager:
The Sales District Manager is a revenue generating sales position responsible for a district of Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge Dealerships. The Sales District Manager is responsible for maximizing district retail sales, vehicle production, performance, revenue and the development of strategies and tactics supporting established targets in his/her geographic area of responsibility that includes 15 – 25 dealerships. The position reports directly to the Dealer Operations Manager (DOM).
Responsibilities:
• Forecast retail sales objectives by vehicle line ensuring dealer orders meet market demand.
• Manage monthly vehicle allocation vs. scheduling to ensure maximum production capability within the district.
• Identify dealers’ with minimum sales responsibility (MSR) and provide consultation on improvement opportunities.
• Review and analyze dealer financial statements including working capital, net worth, total cash and expenses. Provide consultation to dealers on their ability to operate successfully and promote retail sales.
• Assist dealers with change management opportunities to obtain and/or maintain all Five Star requirements. Conduct Five Star reviews with Service District Manager counterpart.
• Ensure dealers’ advertising is consistent with Dealer Advertising Association (DAA) and the National corporate message
• Serve as a liaison between the dealers’ and Chrysler to assist in areas of retail, customer satisfaction and conflict resolution within corporate guidelines (i.e. incentives, logistics, restrictions, etc.)
• Ensure proper levels of Sales Satisfaction are present at all dealerships while identifying areas for improvement.
• Motivate and lead independent entrepreneurs to higher levels of performance consistent with marketing plans, merchandising, financial statement review and new product launch training.
• Manage multiple priorities
Required Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, or related fields.
• Willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
• Sales experience, prefer automotive related.
• Excel in building positive working relationships, cost assessment and conflict resolution.
Other Requirements
• Frequent travel.
• Self motivated with demonstrated ability to achieve goals under minimal supervision.

Location
Physical work location will be at the Business Center or remote depending on the specific district. The eight Business Center offices are located in Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Orlando, Chicago, Detroit, Washington, and New York.
