The mission of Research Administration is Financial Management and Administrative Coordination in support of the research activities of the basic science and clinical research departments.

In this position you will be responsible for managing all aspects of activities associated with awarded grants and contracts. Ensures budgets are developed, monitored and maintained for each area of responsibility. Manages post-award activities including review and approval of fiscal expenditures. Acts as administrative liaison between investigator and other internal and external contacts. Ensures compliance policies of federal, state, MSKCC and other applicable governing regulations concerning sponsored and non-sponsored research.


Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience ideally in an academic and or research environment performing duties similar to the above. Strong interpersonal and oral communications skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of regulations, policies and procedures applicable to sponsored programs. Strong computer skills.
