TALX Regional Manager - Sales
Job Description
The TALX Regional Manager-Sales is responsible for the direct sale of TALX Corporation suite of services in designated territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-- Plan for and develop the full potential of assigned territory/market.
-- Consultatively sell complex solutions in a complex client decision making environment
-- Build relationships, navigate TALX business units and orchestrate internal resources
-- Responsible for cross-selling TALX products and services -- Strategize with Product Sales Representative (Target Teams), to locate and maximize opportunities for those services
-- Work closely with legal department and Product Management to assure new business meets the goal of TALX and the client

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:
-- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
-- Excellent presentation skills
-- Client service oriented
-- Strong problem solving and market research skills
-- Ability to coordinate activities among various sales teams
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
--Four (4) year degree, preferably in Business
--3+ years successful service-based solution selling in a business-to-business environment dealing with senior management of mid-market to large companies
Computer Skills Required:
Proficient with Windows based and Microsoft applications
Preferred Qualifications:
--Prior experience with Human Resources or Payroll systems
--Knowledge of Excel, SalesLogix, ACT! or similar prospect management database
--Prior professional sales development training
Physical Requirements or Environmental Factors:
Approximately 30-40 % travel is required
