Territory Manager
Job Description
Statement of Function:
Upon completion of a 10 week training program in Greenville, SC, starting on August 18th candidates become part of the national sales force.
Territory Managers (TM's) serve as business consultants to truck, earthmover and agricultural fleet customers and assist in lowering fleet operating costs through tire sales, analyzing alignment/wear problems, performing cost-per-mile analyses, and investigating mechanical issues. As a FAM, you'll implement a variety of sales strategies, tactics, programs, and training to create a level of support and service that meets or exceeds the needs of the fleet customer.
Responsibilities:
-Works with assigned Commercial Tire dealerships and Fleet customers to implement the current work instructions
- Forms effective, consultative partnerships with assigned accounts that result in increased sales of Michelin products
- Advises, recommends and assists in the development and execution of sales and service plans
- Maintains the highest possible net recovery for each given sale
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Outside sales experience
- BA or BS degree, preferably in business administration or a related field
- Knowledge in market analysis, customer relations, budget management, needs analysis, and brand positioning
-GEOGRAPHIC MOBILITY REQUIRED
The Territory Manager position has a 10 week training period located in Greenville, SC. At the end of the training, the applicant would then be assigned a territory somewhere in the continental United States.
Territory assignments are made during the training program based upon demonstrated performance and are subject to change based on the needs of the company.
