Supply Chain Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Participate, thru the SC engineering networks, in the design of Group supply chain processes and tools
Provide guidance and improvement ideas to North American Entity Supply Chains.
Assist NA entities in achieving progress objectives including leading projects
Guarantee sound supply chain procedures are established and followed in the Zone.
Assist in development and deployment of supply chain training modules
List of Principal Activities:
Promote Supply Chain principles and best practices throughout North America (all UOT’s).
Participate in creation of procedures / methods for Supply Chain roles and processes and adapt to NA quality system. (ex. S&OP).
Responsible for implementation of normative stock referential and potential inventory policies
Identify, coordinate and, at times, lead key Supply Chain improvement projects.
Identify Supply Chain information system evolution / needs and justification as required.
Benchmark external supply chains (competitors and others).
Keep up with progressing Supply Chain management theory and tools in academia and business.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree (minimum)
Master of Science Degree (preferred)
CPIM (or equivalent)
Professional Path :
Minimum of 5 years working directly in operations (production)
Minimum of 3 years in Supply Chain Department (S&OP facilitator, Planning manager)
