Manager, Human Resources - Project Operations, Hardware Tech

Job Description

This position will provide strategic and operational day-to-day human resource leadership for the Project
Operations, Hardware Technology, and Finance functions with approximately 600 employees. This role reports
operationally to the Functional General Managers and functionally to the HRM of T&D. It is a full range generalist
HRM role in the fast paced and growth oriented T&D business.
* Serve as strategic business partner to the production leadership team to prioritize and drive business goals
and initiatives.
* Provide leadership and expertise for the full scope of Human Resource functions including: employee
compensation and benefits, employee engagement, organizational design and change, communications and
community relations, recruiting and selection, career development.
* Strong focus on identification, selection & retention of talent.
* Drive human resource compliance and ensure standardization and consistency of human resource practices
and policies.
* Ensure that the organization is structured in such a way that optimally supports the organization's business
objectives and situations.

Job Requirements

-BS/BA degree in Human Resources/Industrial/Labor Relations/Business.
-Three years of human resource experience.
-Green Belt Certification (GE Employees only).
Desired
-Strong business acumen, process facilitation and problem solving skills coupled with the ability to objectively
analyze current practices, identify improvement opportunities, build consensus and assist with the
implementation of related changes.
- Strong Change Management skills; demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
-Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. Strong bias for action; execution oriented.
-Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels within the
organization.
-Good working knowledge of HR laws and practices.
-Experience working in teams, both as a leader and a team member.
-Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.
-Web savvy and computer literate, Excel & PPT; familiarity Oracle HR.
-MBA, Masters Degree in Human Resource discipline or related field.
-Former experience in Acquisition Integration Environment.
-HRLP Graduate (GE Employees only).
-Strong internal and external network.
