On April 24th, NSHP hosted our first Job Fair of the year in NYC. The event was held at the Metropolitan Pavilion from 10 am to 3 pm and more than 1200 candidates were there. With over 30 employers and exhibitors attending, job seekers had the opportunity to interview with top companies seeking diversity and bilingual candidates for hundreds of professional positions.

A recent survey of U.S. hiring managers and human resource professionals suggests that Spanish-speaking job candidates will be in especially high demand by employers within the next year.

The online survey was conducted by an online job search site for the Hispanic community. It found that 48% of hiring managers are hiring Spanish-speaking job candidates in 2007 and 2008.

Proven to be a huge hit amongst exhibitors and candidates, the NSHP 2007 Washington, D.C. job fair, hosted over 500 candidates and 60+ employers. After a full day of on-site interviews and Q&A sessions, NSHP exhibitors were pleased to see positions being filled and potential hires were scheduled for second interviews. Paralegal jobs are unique jobs. Support for attorneys to help them do their jobs effectively has always been there from the inception of Law firms. Considering the massive paper work involved in the legal business and the present day Paralegal being well trained in legal matters, a paralegal is an invaluable asset for any serious Law firm.

However the Paralegal job is not limited to the Law firms. Paralegals can find Paralegal jobs in Corporations, Government Agencies and None Governmental Organizations.
