Latino's middle class hurt by recession
A Pew Hispanic Center study shows the recession and jobless recovery were much harder on the net worth of minority households. The findings from the study suggest that while Latinos have made tremendous economic gains in recent years, their economic status still leaves them well short of whites and far more vulnerable during downturns.

Kids elect the first Hispanic female President of the US
If kids across the country could legally vote in the upcoming Presidential election, we'd find that they're a lot more liberal than their parents (and the rest of the country).
According to a new poll by Kidsvote2004.com, 23% of kids surveyed felt that Dora the Explorer would make the best President out of a list of cartoon-character candidates.

Hispanic or bilingual medical personnel, especially registered nurses but also dieticians and radiologists are at the top of the recruitment most-wanted list. A growing Hispanic patient base makes this need imperative and recruiters are aggresively targeting these professionals nationwide.
