Depression among
Hispanic diabetics studied A Columbia University
study published in the May issue of the Journal of General
Internal Medicine has identified an increased incidence of
depression among Hispanic diabetics with poor glycemic control
(PGC), which the researchers say could have implications for
public health.

The National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the
largest Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the
U.S., has released the first report to provide a comprehensive
analysis of the mortgage products and lending tactics
targeting Hispanic home buyers.
