Message from the President and CEO

Dear NSHP friends and supporters:

In lieu of a January e-newsletter I am sending you this personal note. I am thrilled to announce the next phase of NSHP's organizational development by announcing the rollout of our official membership initiative.

This is a fantastic new era for NSHP as we move forward in solidifying ourselves as a professional association for Hispanic professionals. I am thrilled to personally invite you all to visit our website and become official dues paying members today!

The membership initiative will continue to offer no cost access to the website.

However, depending on your membership level there will now be some areas on the website that will be restricted to dues paying members only. Details about the specific membership categories, requirements, dues levels, benefits, and payment scales options can be found on the website under membership information.

Some of the benefits are:

» 1 Free year Associate Membership to NSHP's Job Board

» Free access to a Premium payscale.com report

» Free or discounted magazines related to the Hispanic business community

» Listing in and access to NSHP's Online Membership Directory

» Discounted member rate to NSHP's Local Professional Networking Cocktail
    Receptions

» Discounted member rate to NSHP's Annual Ball of the Americas

» Eligibility to participate in NSHP's Annual Professional Awards and Annual     National  Professional Networking Cocktail Reception

» Personal invitations to NSHP's Job Fairs

This year will usher in a more comprehensive level of networking opportunities for official dues paying NSHP members.  Becoming a dues paying member in 2005 will open up a world of new opportunities for you.

You will have the opportunity to be actively and personally involved in leadership roles in NSHP on the national and local level. You will also be able to be an active participant in organizing and attending local professional networkers to meet influential professionals, as well as to promote yourself and your business to them.

I will be working on organizing, planning and implementing NSHP's annual city-based professional networkers across the country and this will provide you with an excellent venue to move forward in your professional career as an NSHP member.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding NSHP's membership process. I look forward to meeting you all in person this year at one of our city-based professional networkers or at the national professional networker in The Magic City, Miami!

With warm regards,
Xiomara A. Sosa
NSHP President & CEO
