Hispanics in the Construction Industry
While there are issues and areas of disagreement, Hispanics represent a significant solution to the semi-skilled construction labor shortage. New Hispanic nutrition guidelines promote healthy eating

Its website provides nutritional tips in both Spanish and English, but visitors should be aware that the council's nutritional information places a strong emphasis on dairy products.

In Arizona half of Hispanic voters support official English language
Half of the Hispanics who voted in Arizona supported a successful ballot proposal making English the state’s official language. However, Hispanics and other racial groups were divided over Proposition 103, which requires government functions to be conducted in English.

Hispanic Food vs. Hispanic Flavor
Food preferences of Latinos vary by region and there seems to be more emphasis on the flavor rather than the type of food. Eighty-four percent of Latinos say they enjoy eating traditional Hispanic food and this is expected to become a $7 billion industry by 2009, proving that food manufacturers should pay attention to trends in this expanding market.
