Washington, D.C. Career Fair was a Huge Success
The cloudy skies over the nation’s capital didn’t
stop more than 500 candidates and over 60 employers from attending
our Washington, D.C. job fair! After a full day of interviews
and Q&A sessions, some candidates were hired on the spot
and others were scheduled for second interviews. If you missed

Diego job fair is Oct. 18.
The
Hispanic Health Paradox
Many studies report that U.S. Hispanics have better or similar
health compared to non-Hispanic Whites, despite having lower
incomes and less education. Hispanics also have relatively
lower mortality rates compared with Whites. What’s the
secret behind better than-expected health and mortality rate
among Latinos?

According to new analysis of census data, Whites are outnumbered
in nearly one-tenth of the nation's 3,141 counties. This shift
reflects the country’s increasing diversity, the result
of immigration (particularly from Central and South America)
and the higher birth rate among blacks and Hispanics.
The
Hispanic Vote: A Rise in Numbers
The Hispanic community is the fastest-growing minority group
in the United States according to the U.S. census, but its
percentage of the electorate is lower than its numbers would
indicate due to lower citizenship rates, less voter participation
and a youthful demographic.
The
Importance of Hispanic Representation in Human Resources
Hispanic job board LatPro.com says growth in the U.S. Latino
population and the resulting increase in workforce diversity
mean businesses should be looking for Hispanic professionals
to serve in a variety of HR roles.

Reserve
District Manager -
Los Angeles, California
Primary responsibilities, usually assigned by a district
manager include: Learn and prepare to run your own district,
Recruit new agents, Train new and existing agents, and support
district operation. Minimum qualifications: Excellent communication
skills, college degree, Good credit history and desire to
own and operate a small business.
Engineering Manager -
San Diego, California
Manager is responsible for the coordination, training, development,
and other personnel management issues for a mixed staff of engineers
and technicians. Bachelors (+6 years experience), Masters (+4 years
experience) or PhD (+2 years experience) in Physics, Electrical
Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related field.
Senior
Financial Analyst -
Prospect Heights, Illinois
Provide financial and technical expertise on projects requiring
highly complex financial analysis. Work on cross functional
teams with other departments, as appropriate.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or statistics, MBA
preferred. Minimum of seven years proven and progressive financial
and/or business analysis experience. Proficiency with personal
computers and pertinent mainframe systems and software packages.
Sr. Marketing
Account Manager - Anaheim, CA
To provide leadership, direction, creative thought, project
management, and approval to the marketing efforts and materials
of International wholesale accounts. To lead the development
of Travel Industry Marketing materials, including sales core
collateral that will support sales efforts in our international
markets.
