A new Hispanic soap opera based in San Antonio

Later this summer, San Antonio will set the stage of a steamy new soap opera that will feature the lives of two wealthy Hispanic families -- one from San Antonio, the other from Monterrey, Mexico.

The 16-week bilingual soap opera, titled 'Alamo Heights S.A.,' was filmed in Houston and San Antonio and it will be shown online at Quepasa.com.

'Alamo Heights S.A.' is produced by El Mundo Entertainment in San Antonio. The producers are promising all the elements of a compelling soap -- power plays, glamour, love, lust and betrayal in high-definition video. In the story line, the De Zavala and Montes families made their fortunes in the lingerie and apparel industries.

Over the course of 16 weeks, Quepasa.com will air 80, seven-minute long episodes over the show's first season.
