At St. Thomas University , our goal is to make education accessible and affordable to you! We offer a comprehensive program of financial aid resources. When you apply, our Office of Financial Aid will work with you to help ensure that you receive the maximum aid for which you qualify.

Most financial aid packages for St. Thomas University students consist of a combination of scholarships, grants, loans, and employment opportunities. At present, over 87 percent of our students receive some type of financial assistance in the form of:

- Scholarships, ranging from $3,000 to $13,000
- Federal grants
- State grants to Florida residents
- Loans from the federal government and other sources
- Work-Study awards providing on-campus employment
- Outside scholarships

Basic Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered for the Federal Financial Aid programs a student must meet all of the following criteria.

- Have a high school diploma or a General Education Development (GED) Certificate.
- Be enrolled or accepted into an associates, bachelors, or graduate degree seeking program at least half-time (6 credits for undergraduate, 3 credits for graduate).
- Be a citizen, national, or eligible non-citizen of the United States .
- Have a valid Social Security Number.
- Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
- Not owe a refund or be in default of any Title IV funds.
- Be registered with Selective Service, if required to do so.
