A FREE Pre-Concert Festival will be held from 12:00 - 4:30 p.m. at the Broadway Pier, located at the foot of Broadway along Harbor Drive on San Diego's scenic embarcadero: Mariachis, ballet folklorico, singers, food and sponsors booths.
The Sixth annual ¡Viva el Mariachi! Festival® presents a Gala Concert Under the Stars…A Mariachi Serenade by the Bay…with performances by world- renowned mariachi groups, floreo de laso (rope tricks) and colorful ballet folklorico groups. The concert will include performances by Mariachi Los Reyes de Mexico, from Guadalajara, Jal., Mariachi Campanas de America, from San Antonio, TX, an all-female Mariachi Divas, from Los Angeles, CA and Mariachi Champaña Nevin, from San Diego. A special display of fireworks will conclude the concert.
